Ordering cars from abroad

Package I: AutoSky asks the seller in detail about the vehicle’s condition, service history, damage and anything else material, and passes that on to the buyer. As no further background research or independent inspection is carried out, the purchase decision is made on the basis of information received from the seller and all liability remains with the buyer.

Package II is the most popular choice among our customers, offering a balance between confidence and shared risk. After AutoSky’s thorough background research you can expect the vehicle to match the information verified during that research; as these are mostly used vehicles, faults appearing after handover cannot be entirely ruled out. If, after handover, a fault appears that was present at the time of purchase but could not reasonably have been identified during the background research on the information available to AutoSky, and that does not stem from normal wear, age, mileage or the buyer’s use, AutoSky contributes 50% of the cost of putting it right. AutoSky covers its share up to the cost of the chosen service package.

Package III is for buyers who want maximum peace of mind. If, after handover, a fault appears that was present at the time of purchase but could not reasonably have been identified during the background research on the information available to AutoSky, and that does not stem from normal wear, age, mileage or the buyer’s use, AutoSky arranges the repair at its own cost. AutoSky’s liability is limited to the cost of the chosen service package.

Package III is not available for every vehicle — its availability and terms are confirmed separately for each vehicle before the purchase is finalised.
